Check out our dedication to not only your party but your child's health below! Usually, if a junky and dirty inflatable (that you saved $10.00 rental on) is delivered at 9:00 AM for your 11:00 AM party it is too late to find a clean replacement from a reputable company.

Windows are needed on an inflatable to allow airflow and so parents can supervise kids at all times. Netting and sides on inflatables is what helps keep the children from falling out and getting injured. Torn netting is expected from rental inflatables as kids tend to hang from the netting. Quick fixes and hodgepodge patchwork should never be accepted, especially if it becomes a safety concern.

Flip Flop Inflatables would rather remove a unit from service and have it repaired the right way than take a chance of a structural failure that may put someone in a position of getting hurt.

bad_unit3.jpg

All rental inflatables show wear & tear after a certain period of time. Units that you rent should be inspected by the State Fire Marshall and rental companies should be insured. All rented equipment should be of a commercial quality as well. Research what you are renting and stay away from a company trying to rent non commercial Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club inflatables which are not designed for the high traffic of event rentals. If the door of this unit looks this way, just think of what the thread at the seams holding this unit together must look like.

Flip Flop Inflatables stocks only commercial grade inflatables which are double and triple stitched at all seams. Our inflatables are on a rotational list and taken out of service and disposed of once they have reached the end of their useful safe service life. In 2009, we have disposed of 3 units that were starting to show their age and had wear. It cost a little more to do business this way, but we feel good charging a comfortable price for a newer inspected, safe and insured unit.

We are State Inspected, Safety Trained and Insured per Louisiana Law. Ask the company you plan on renting from for this documentation.

Being in South Louisiana, we encounter love bugs, tree sap, road tar, thick mud and other items that may "stain" an inflatable. Be advised that the staining in the pictures is not from any of these items. This is pure neglect of the inflatable. If any areas of the bouncer you rent look like this, how clean do you think the inside of the unit where your children and guest will be? Some of our bouncers may have a few stained spots from sap, but we wouldn’t deliver anything that looked like this.

Flip Flop Inflatables cleans both the interior and exterior of all inflatables between rentals. We wipe the inside and outside with a Lysol cleaning solution to remove any contaminants and wipe all interior contact parts/bouncing & sliding surfaces with Odo-Ban to kill the germs.

There is nothing growing on the inside or outside of our inflatables as in the bottom picture.

Repairing a unit with tape or string adds additional hazards for the children bouncing. If a child’s arm or leg becomes tangled there is a high possibility of a broken arm or leg. If this was to get wrapped around a child’s neck strangulation is possible.

Flip Flop Inflatables has units professionally repaired when needed and will never allow your children to play in a unit that we would consider UN-acceptable for our own children.

bad_unit5.jpg

State Law and Manufacturer recommendations dictate that all units are secured to prevent being blown away or tipping over during use. Be aware of the staking process at your event to assure safe play and make sure the tethering material is stronger than the twine in the photo to the left. Unit securment required varies from 100 to 500 pounds at each anchor point.

Flip Flop Inflatables secures all inflatables that we set up. Ground Stakes are used on soft surfaces and water bags/sand bags are used indoors and on hard surfaces.
